October Instagrams

Here's October in pictures for you...

My two finds at the semi-annual city yard sale: an old world globe on a wooden carved stand, and a wooden mosaic of an Arab medina.

I'm sitting in McDonald's looking at this egg mcmuffin and wishing with all my heart that it was a Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit instead.

Oh Marseille, how I love you and your magic disappearing monument tricks...

I haven't seen someone making one of these bracelets since I was in the 7th grade.  Someone in the comments on instagram asked how I "so casually snuck a pic?"  I answered, "I wasn't even sneaky about it.  Haha...straight up stalker photo."

WAR EAGLE!  What an awesome night of college football as the underdogs won nearly all night long.  I don't have any fingernails left after this one...

I don't really like that whole "the words you win describe you" thing in Apples to Apples.  I'd be feeling pretty low about myself if tonight's game were true...

Coffee and Art Nouveau was a good way to start the day in Barcelona.

Clouds in Barcelona are AWESOME.

Conversation I had at Parc Guell:
Lady says, "Ma'am, you have to have a ticket to enter the park."
I say, "Wait...when did you start charging an entrance fee?" (It used to be free.)
Lady says, "Today."
I walk away sad that we didn't go to the park yesterday...

I'm starting a new collection of photos called "oblivious tourists who stand right in front of my camera...and refuse to move..."

Having so much fun making our necks look funny in the camera.  I love my brother and am so grateful for Skype, webcams, FaceTime, and iMessage!!!

While I did don a mask for Halloween while hanging out down at the Vieux Port, I didn't get a picture.  Sorry.  Maybe next year.  Looking forward to November and giving thanks all month long!

p.s. the tourist-picture collection will be quite hilarious...you should keep your faithful blog-readers apprised of its progress. :-)
