My photoblog site is not working, for some reason...the whole thing is down, not just my page. So...here are a few pictures from Blois. The first is the cathedral de Saint Nicholas.
These are the gazillion chimneys...which made the whole town smell of a fireplace. It was wonderful!
The Loire River, some boats, the bridge and the cathedral off in the distance.
The quaint, curving, hilly streets.
This is the magnificent Chateau de Chambord! It's the largest castle in France. It has 365 different fireplaces--one for every day of the year. We had some serious fun in this place!

This is the double-helix stairwell in the castle, designed by Leonardo de Vinci. Every floor has two entrances, and if two people go in each entrance, they'll never meet each other in the stairwell...even though it appears that you're on the same one. It's wild. Super fun. Banana, Sue-Wee and I kept going round and round trying to catch each other...and being silly tourists...
Also, there was a chapel with amazing acoustics. There was music playing in it so that you could appreciate the acoustics. We took a video so you could hear it, and it'll be up on Banana's blog sometime tonight. Click here to go to her blog and see the video...you might catch a little silliness...
