I am sitting 26 floors up on the couch that I slept on, and was shocked when I woke up to see the view. Because I arrived at 2 in the morning, I only saw the night lights of the town. When I rose and looked out the window this morning--what a site! This place is FLAT! That's the very first impression--flatter than Texas! I've never seen such flatness, flat-a-righty. And from 26 floors up, I've got a pretty good view!
I woke with the call to prayer this morning (some things will never change). But I got to have cereal for breakfast--glory!
Those are my first, early morning thoughts of this dusty, flat place. More to come later.
