I did have a temporary roommate move in for a couple of months (which has been WONDERFUL), but having someone around may have thrown off my introvert groove. Before her, I filled up my relationship cup via Skype and friends outside of my house. Now that it's all full simply from having a fun friend in the house...I suppose I just haven't felt the need to talk much to anyone else.
And I was sick for a month. An entire month. What's there to talk about when all one's done is lie around hoping to finally feel better? Thankfully, it was during the Olympics, and so I had something to keep me entertained while I laid around. I would go to work, and come home and just lay on the couch until it was time to go to bed...and then repeat the next day. I'm finally better, praise the good Lord.
I adapted superwell almost immediately to having a roommate, and am not sure how I'm going to do once she leaves in a couple of weeks. I'll have the place back to myself for about a month, then the camelridingcowgirl will move in with me for about a month. Then the
I did something surprising today. I went back to Facebook and created a Twitter account. What what?! There is some actual reasoning behind it all. Not sure how much I'll actually use them, we'll see. But I thought it might help me emerge from the hermit hole to try interacting with the world. Plus, with everyone in my life always moving away, Facebook really does seem to be the way to stay in touch. And...for work purposes, I thought it might be good to have some sort of internet identity--something I've always revolted against. (I've contact Google three times just this week to remove my name from their search engine, goodness.) I like the world not knowing about my life. But I'm learning that the world doesn't function like that anymore, and it's best to at least be able to prove I exist.
I am on the world wide web, therefore I exist? Apparently.
What else to update you on? Hmmm...
I'm currently memorizing Psalm 27 (plus the weekly Fighter Verse and a proverb).
I'm currently reading Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy (with notpoems and Master Yoda...it's like a book club where only I know the other members! haha.)
I'm currently working on two quilts: one for my class that I'm taking, and the Artist's.
I'm currently eating rice and vegetables because someone stole my credit card number and I am thus waiting on a new card and payday isn't until Friday so I'm stretching the food in the house while I have no money...
I'm currently enjoy life in Marseille.
I'm currently loving Jesus.
That's all.

That totally makes sense, but I'm glad you're back! I missed you.
So - come find me on Facebook - if you want. . . and you will get to see all of the family pics - since I'm horrible at emailing them! I don't know if I'm locked down so you can't find me. . . first name, maiden name, last name.. .
Auntie K--done. I'm such an airhead I thought, "Do I know your maiden name?" hahaha.
I'm glad someone else sees things from as introverted a perspective as I do.
also, thanks for the reminder to start reading Bonhoeffer...! since I am now caught up on your blog, I think I'll go do that now!
