The Inshallah Mentality

"Inshallah." If God wills.

It's more than a saying, it's an entire mentality.

"See you tomorrow!" "Inshallah," is the response.
"I'm flying to Turkey next week." "Inshallah..." my friend says.
"Your furniture will be delivered on Thursday, inshallah," the Homes R Us salesman says to me.

Well, does that mean it IS coming on Thursday or isn't? And forget setting a time. Just sit in your apartment and wait. And wait. And wait.

The furniture all came. However, the internet connection, which was going to be turned on in "7-10 days, inshallah" is still waiting to be turned on after two weeks. Perhaps this week I will be able to return to posting on a more regular basis.
